Hailing from Portsmouth, Virginia, Donnell Isaac, a singer and composer, discovered his passion for music at an early age. Engaging with music through choir and various church groups as a young boy, he quickly developed his skills. Donnell's journey took a significant turn when record label executive Bernie McLean recognized his talent and signed him for a distribution deal with Indie Charts/Kingdom Records in 2010. His career took off, and he achieved a major hit with "Shelter From The Storm," which dominated the radio BDS100's charts for over 16 weeks. In 2014, his remake of "I Won't Complain" earned him the 'Best New Artist' title at the Chosen Voice Awards in Tampa Bay.Donnell Isaac draws inspiration from influential singers such as Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, Ronnie Dyson, Angie Stone, and Anthony Hamilton. Not limited to music, Donnell has also showcased his talents on screen, making appearances in TV shows like "Law and Order" and the movie "My Brother."
